Midnight - ewe lamb - SOLD

Midnight is from one or our best maternal families. Both her mother and grandmother are milky enough to be considered dairy sheep. Both have strong mothering instincts and take wonderful care of their lambs. They all also have wonderful temperaments and are hardy and very easy to care for. Midnight is a twin from a first-time mother.

Midnight’s fleece is soft, very long, and very dense. The crimp is more of a wave pattern. She is going to produce a massive amount of fiber.

Midnight is fairly tame but tends to not get enough attention to make her super tame. A little dedicated attention will have her eating out of your hand.

Midnight would be an excellent option for both a fleece producer or a milk sheep. If you want to have an easy time during lambing season, she is your girl.

Twilight - ewe lamb

Twilight is a single from a second time mother. We have her full sister and are super happy with her. We just have too many black sheep already!

Twilight’s mother and full sister both have excellent maternal instincts. They take excellent care of their lambs and have good milk production to grow good sized lambs. Twilight will be a natural and will not need any help figuring things out.

Twilight’s fleece is very soft and dense, but not as long as Midnight’s fleece. It will also have more of a wave pattern versus a super tight crimp.

Twilight is extremely sweet and friendly. She will approach you to ask for attention.

Confetti - ewe lamb - SOLD

Confetti’s name comes from the dalmation spotting she is entirely coated with. She comes from one of our best family lines. Her mother and big sisters are all very milky and wonderful mothers. They are all milky enough to be considered milk sheep. They are also natural mothers and will give no trouble at all during lambing season. Her mother’s lambing record is 3, 4, 3.

This line also produces amazing fleeces. The fleece are very fine, very soft, and very finely crimped. The length and quantity tends to vary a bit among each individual, and I expect her fleece to be similar to Sprinkles’ fleece. Sprinkles and Sugar are her big (full) sisters.

Confetti is very sweet and loves to come up to you for attention.

Padme - ewe lamb - SOLD

Padme is Confetti’s full sister.

The length and quantity tends to vary a bit among each individual, and Padme’s fleece is a bit on the shorter side right now. I expect her fleece to be no longer than Sprinkles’ fleece. Sprinkles is her full sister.

Padme has no interest in being a tame sheep and is quite flighty.

Nettle - ewe lamb

Nettle is a twin from a first-time mother, and we are retaining her brother. This whole family has absolutely amazing maternal instincts, milk production, and fleeces. Nettle’s mother has been an amazing mother and has produced enough milk to grow large, vigorous lambs. I would consider her borderline a dairy sheep and expect her to be tremendously milky next year in her second lactation.

Nettle will be a fantastic mother and give you absolutely no trouble during lambing season.

Nettle’s mother also produces an amazing fleece. It is very soft, very fine, and very finely crimped. And its length and density mean there is a lot of it! I expect Nettle’s fleece to be just like her mothers.

Nettle is quite sweet and will be super tame with a little extra attention.

Nursey - ewe lamb - SOLD

Nursey is a triplet from a first-time mother. This entire family are dedicated and amazing mothers. They give birth without trouble and diligently care for their lambs even as first-timers. Nursey will be an asset during lambing season. This family produces a good amount of milk and grows their lambs nicely, but they aren’t quite to dairy level production.

Nursey has an extremely long and dense fleece. It is also super soft and super fine. However, it doesn’t have much crimp to it and is more of a wavy pattern. I expect her to produce a tremendous amount of fleece.

Nursey is super sweet and has a spunky personality. She will come up to you for attention and is very easy to catch.

Lilac - ewe lamb

Lilac is a twin from a first-time mother. We are retaining her sister. Lilac comes from an excellent maternal family that also has very high milk production. Every member of this family (and we have her grandmother, great-aunt, aunt, and cousin) are all amazing mothers. She will give you absolutely no trouble at lambing season and take wonderful care of her lambs. She also has potential to be a milk sheep.

Lilac’s fleece is very fine, soft, and finely crimped. It also has a very nice length and density. Her mother is our second-best fleece producer (Sugar is the best one) and produced a very heavy fleece because it is so dense. I expect Lilac to also be a fantastic fleece producer.

Lilac would prefer to keep you at arm’s length, but she isn’t crazy wild.

Mirabelle - ewe lamb - SOLD

Mirabelle comes from a family known for its excellent maternal instincts, milkiness, and wonderful fleeces. She is a single from a first-time mother. Mirabelle is going to bring phenomenal maternal instincts and a really fantastic fleece. Her mother doesn’t seem to be milky enough to be dairy quality although her grandmother and great-grandmother definitely are. She perhaps needs to have more than one lamb to see her true milk production potential.

Every single member of this family is a natural mother who will give you no trouble during lambing season. I expect Mirabelle to be the same way.

Mirabelle’s fleece is extremely soft and also very long and very dense. I think she is going to produce a tremendous quantity of fleece. Her crimp pattern is a bit looser like her father’s.

Mirabelle makes a good show of not wanting to be caught, but I pet her every morning when she is in the feed bunk and she doesn’t really mind.

Candy - ewe lamb

Candy comes from one of our best maternal lines. Members of this family are known for their natural mother, extremely good milk production, and good fleeces, and I’m sure she will be no different. Cookie is another ewe that will give you no trouble during lambing season and will grow her lambs to a nice, good size. Her mother is borderline dairy level milk production.

Candy’s fleece is very fine and very soft but is shorter than her sister’s (Cookie - the next lamb - is her sister). I would not expect it to be longer than her mother’s fleece.

Candy doesn’t want you near her and will keep an eye out to make sure you don’t get too close.

Cookie - ewe lamb - SOLD

Cookie comes from one of our best maternal lines. Members of this family are known for their natural mother, extremely good milk production, and good fleeces, and I’m sure she will be no different. Cookie is another ewe that will give you no trouble during lambing season and will grow her lambs to a nice, good size. Her mother is borderline dairy level milk production.

Cookie has really nice fleece. It is soft, fine, and nicely crimped. The current length and density make me think she is going to produce much more fleece than both of her parents. She is going to be a fantastic fiber producer.

Cookie is not flighty, but she keeps her distance and doesn’t want to be caught. Unlike her sister, she doesn’t keep an eye on you and is fairly easy to sneak up on.

Elsa - ewe lamb - SOLD

Elsa’s mother is our milkiest sheep. She has dairy level milk production and has teat placement that can be easily milked. She is an excellent mother and had her three cleaned off and fed in the wee hours of the morning without needing me at all. Her lambing record is 2, 4, 3.

Elsa carries color from her father. It could be either brown or black because he carries one copy of each.

Her mother also has one of our best fleeces. It is very fine, very soft, very finely crimped, very silky, and very lustrous. All of her lambs, including Elsa, have the same type of fleece.

Elsa is a sweetheart who comes up to me for pets every time I am in the barn.

Elsa would be perfect for both a dairy or a fiber flock.

Keisha - ewe lamb - SOLD

Keisha is an absolute sweetheart who will follow you around the barn like a puppy dog. She always comes up to you and wants attention when you are in the barn.

Keisha also comes from a fantastic maternal family with high milk production. Her mother has phenomenal mothering instincts and absolutely loves being a mom. She also has very high milk production and could easily be milked. She grows enormous, vigorous lambs.

Both of Keisha’s parents produce enormous amounts of super fine and super soft fleece. Their fleeces are extremely dense and heavy. Keisha has very fine crimp to her fleece, and I expect it to look like her sister Nutmeg’s fleece.

Keisha will be a fantastic mother who gives you no trouble during lambing season and will be a good addition to either a fiber or milk focused flock.

Hip Wader - ewe lamb - SOLD

Hip Wader (named for her distinctive white marking on her hip) is from our very best fleece producing ewe. The only reason she is being offered is because we are trying to diversify our fleece colors away from so many black sheep.

Hip Wader comes from a really amazing maternal and milk producing family. Both her mother and grandmother are milky enough to be considered dairy quality. They also have amazing maternal instincts, and Hip Wader will give you no trouble at all during lambing season.

Hip Wader’s fleece is very soft, very fine, and has a really nice length and density. She isn’t quite old enough to make a good judgement of the level of crimp, but I do think it will be similar to her mother’s. Given her fleece’s density so far, I think she will produce a large, heavy fleece.

Hip Wader is fine with you approaching her and petting her, but she generally doesn’t come up to you.

Felena - ewe lamb - SOLD

Felena is from a litter of 6 lambs. Her mother is milky enough to have fed all six, but sadly she only needed to raise four. Her lambing record is 4, 3, 6.

Felena’s mother is one of our sweetest sheep. She particularly loves to come up behind you and breathe right in your ear every time you crouch down. She is also a wonderful mother who takes good care of her lambs. She has a very soft personality and will happily babysit any lambs that come near her.

Felena’s mother produces an astonishingly large fleece. Its sheer density makes it amazingly heavy, which is fantastic when you are making yarn. Her fleece is also always super soft, super fine, and super finely crimped. Felena is going to take after her mother in the quantity of fleece department, but she is still a bit too young to make a good judgement on the crimp. I am thinking it may turn out similar to her sister Maple’s fleece.

Felena is a bit on the younger side, so her personality hasn’t come out entirely. However, she doesn’t seem too interested in being very friendly.

Felena would be a good fit for a flock that prioritizes fleece production and prolificacy.
